I will say the way they’re titled “Pokémon ____ Version 2” makes it seem less like they’re sequels and more like upgrades
of course all of the games have “Version” in the title, people just don’t say it
so I dunno, it could go either way honestly, it could be a direct sequel and carry over plot points and have new locations, or it could just be a rehash...

yeah that’s what I mean, that’s pretty soon since I’m pretty sure Black and White were hyped a year before release in Japan… I think.
and depending on how much content it carries over from Black and White, the localisation may...
I will say I’m glad they announced this game only a few months before release, unlike the year or so of hype last time (remember zoroark)
of course Pokémon games seem to be the only Nintendo games remaining that take forever to be localised, and since it has DSi and 3DS features it’ll be region locked on those systems so no importing I guess.

Hmm, understandable. I, for one, completely skipped the 4th Generation because it just wasn’t doing it for me. I just played them recently. B/W did a fine job in streamlining the experience a lot, let’s see how these sequels improve the experience.
I do think if I skipped Gen 4 I’d be a lot happier...

yeah well, I wasn’t all that invested in the story of White so that isn’t all that appealing to me
like I’m gonna get it most likely but I doubt I’ll enjoy it a whole lot if it’s the same ol’ formula
